This line of "single shaft shredders" has been designed to effectively reduce the size of plastic, textile, woven material, rubber and metal,to a uniform size shred. The final size of the shredded material depends on the screens installed on the outfeed which may vary to meet individual customer requirements. The shredder is made up of a top-loading hopper (where the material to be shredded is fed into the machine). This is connected to a cutting unit which includes a hydraulic pusher and a series of rotary and fixed blades which effectively reduce the size of the infeed material. The outfeed shredded material falls into the discharge area where a mechanical belt conveyor (OPTIONAL) or an auger (OPTIONAL) can be supplied to take the shredded material away. All operations are carried out from a control console. Several models to choose from based on material and desired throughput. Machines are wired for three phase voltage to suit customers requirement.
